Our VisionOur clients are First Nations and organizations that retain us to provide them with strategic advice and representation in order to accomplish their aspirations and goals of bettering their Nations and communities. With our knowledge and experience in Aboriginal law, we listen to our clients and stand up with our clients in their pursuit for self-determination over their people, lands and resources. We were founded in 2004 by P. Michael Jerch with the support of former grand chiefs Sydney Garrioch and the late Francis Flett. ![]() With strategic thinking and innovative solutions, we provide representation and advice in all areas of Aboriginal law, from litigation to negotiation and strategic advice. Our clients retain us in regards to litigating and advising on claims and research relating to Aboriginal rights, Treaties, historical claims and the Indian Act, negotiating and advising on inter-governmental agreements and benefits agreements, establishing self-government institutions and advising on economic development, legislative drafting, and the consultation and accommodation of our clients' territories, rights and livelihoods. We value a work environment of that provides both action and innovation; learning and collaboration. We provide that environment to our First Nations clients at our new central and professional office space with boardrooms, library, and client meeting space, in an historic building in downtown Winnipeg.
